Overview
The ACT-GR is a non-verbal measure of mental ability that makes use of stimuli presented such as patterns and shapes to assess a candidate’s structural logic, abstract problem solving, inductive reasoning, spatial reasoning and pattern recognition.
The ACT-NR measures numerical problem solving, inductive reasoning and pattern recognition using numerical data. It requires a basic working knowledge of English in order to understand the questions.
The ACT-VR assesses aspects of verbal reasoning including the ability to make inferences, recognizing assumptions, deductions, interpretations and evaluating arguments.
